3 October 2024 – We are excited to announce the addition of Indian companies to the Quant Investing Stock Screener.
You can now screen 581 of the most traded companies in India using the over 110 ratios and indicators available in the screener.
Why India?
India’s rapid economic growth and large, diverse market offer exciting opportunities for investors. This new addition lets you explore one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.
By including Indian companies, we are offering you another way to diversify your portfolio into emerging markets and capture growth opportunities in both large and mid-cap companies there.
Carefully Selected Companies
Not all Indian companies were added. We carefully selected the companies based on their trading volumes to ensure you only screen liquid stocks that are easy to invest in.
This avoids the inclusion of thinly traded stocks, which can be difficult to invest in and offer little benefit to your screening process. Our goal is to give you only the companies that are truly investable and actively traded.
Companies included vary from Ayujoy Herbals Ltd. with a market value of $1.4 million, up to India’s giant, Reliance Industries Ltd., valued at $238.5 billion.

You can now analyse and screen Indian companies using more than 110 different ratios and indicators. These include valuation, profitability, and growth metrics to help you find investment opportunities that exactly fit your investment strategy.

Historical Data for Back Testing
Please note that the back test data will only be available from 1 September 2024 for Indian companies. This is because we use actual (not calculated) data in the back tester.
The Historical Screener will allow you to test your strategies from this date forward.
